To live is a concept so wild and free
Something that I struggled with
Silly me
I walked along the fire
Afraid to be me
Hand in hand with the devil
A detainee
It snickered and it snarled
As it held me undersea
I was chasing a way to reality
A spark set off
An inquiry
Asking why I was scared to be free
Like the swift turn of an ignition key
I had to find the best of me
A life long adventure it will be
But I will thrive, you will see.
