"Frozen Beauty" was inspired by a visit to Big Hill Springs in Alberta. It was late evening, and the only sound was the almost-frozen water rushing beneath the ice. There was a sense of comfort in that sound, as if the chaos of life faded into insignificance. In that moment, it felt like we were here on this beautiful earth to savor these quiet moments with ourselves.



The quiet tones and subdued colors make the composition resonate with peace, creating a space for your thoughts and dreams to wander. The design gently leads you to the day's beautiful fading light, where the promise of another glorious day awaits.

Brillant Evening was inspired by a warm fall evening last year at Glenmore Park, Calgary.

I painted the same place a few times now and this one is a new interpretation.

"Summer Castle" stands as a testament to my admiration for Castle Mountain, nestled in the stunning landscapes of Alberta, Canada. Among all the majestic peaks, Castle Mountain holds a special place in my heart for its unique allure—a blend of grandeur, mystery, and beauty unlike any other.



Captivated by its enigmatic presence, I found myself torn between capturing its essence in the verdant hues of summer or the ethereal frost of winter. Unable to choose, I embarked on a journey to paint both interpretations. "Summer Castle," presented here, is a 36x12-inch original oil painting, delicately framed in a simple, yet elegant dark wood frame, enhancing its natural charm.

"Wendy's Camp" was inspired by a great summer spot close to Rosebud, AB, Canada.



The Rosebud River Valley is an ecological treasure of wetlands and coulees northeast of Calgary that offers a sanctuary for a host of wildlife, including threatened Bank Swallows, Prairie Falcons, Golden Eagles and songbirds.



The area was threatened by a proposed development of a racetrack/ resort.



A great outdoor painting meetup was organized by the owners of the place to show the beauty of the area that was threatened and many incredible paintings came out from the talented artists.



I made several outdoor paintings at that place, all of them have sold, but this one is a painting inspired on one of them made in my studio.

"Going Green" was inspired by a cool morning at Two Jack Lake this summer. It was incredible to see how many greens you can have in nature!

This painting was inspired on a warm summer afternoon with a dear friend by the Bow River.



First Nations made varied use of the river for sustenance before settlers of European origin arrived, such as using its valleys in the buffalo hunt. They skillfully employed its valleys during buffalo hunts, exemplifying their resourcefulness.



The river's name, Bow, originates from the reeds that flourished along its banks, serving as raw materials for crafting bows by the First Nations. In the Blackfoot language, the river is referred to as Makhabn, signifying "river where bow reeds grow."

Original oil painting inspired by the Lorette Ponds in Alberta, Canada.

It is made using oil paints and palette knife on canvas. I prepare may own canvas using PVA glue and oil ground for archival purposes.



The sides have been painted and it is ready to hang. Protected with good quality varnish and can be cleaned with a soft cloth.

"End of the day Reward" was inspired by a sunset I saw while driving. I had to stop and take a picture. I am always looking for ways to be more present and be grateful for the everyday things we give for granted. Maybe, while watching a sunset, you might start seeing problems in a new light.
