Between the search for beauty, excess of aesthetics and authentic creation, the works of Laure Durivage burst into multicolored canvases. As a child, drawn to pop culture and discovering her talent, Laure had fun drawing cartoons and sassy, colorful young girls. She dabbled in photography in her early teens, armed at first with a simple disposable camera, eventually undertaking studies of snowy contrasts and textures, making the most of the nature that surrounds her. In front of her house is the local cemetery: it will give her the opportunity to question life, death, the body, the mystery with her pencils. His talent leads him in several directions: learning cartoon techniques will allow him to refine the precision of his pencil stroke, opening the door to a series of graphic works, on the borderline between street art, sketching and cubism.
A detour through the history of art will make her question the classics and discover her greatest inspiration, Gustav Klimt. However, it was the art of makeup that provided her livelihood for a few years. This period offers him the chance to explore different techniques, materials and medium, while bringing together the favorite elements of his artistic discourse: the contrast of colors and texture, the questioning of the aestheticization of the body and the search for authenticity, real in the universe of Beauty.
