I studied graphic arts for four years, and I also studied life drawing and still life.
Typography is often present in my work because it was one of my favorite subjects; I learned to draw letters by hand and loved it! My other favorite subject was color study—I could spend hours creating gradients and experimenting with color combinations.
I adore bright, dynamic colors, probably due to my nostalgia for the 80s and the neon trend! These elements inspire me the most to create works with colorful, dynamic, and graphic textures. I love creating balanced pieces; I have a bit of an obsession with balance in everything I observe—a perfectionist, I guess! Posters pasted on walls and graffiti also inspire me greatly, and that's where I draw much of my inspiration!
