The first time i met my step daughter we went to Ripleys in Toronto. We made in just in time to see a sting ray show. So i made a painting of the day i gained a daughter.
atypical. (Andy McGeoch) began as street art and has evolved to include work in the forms of canvas, murals, graffiti, street art, mixed material and apparel. Originally born on the east coast of the US and a San Diego, California resident for 12 years, he currently works in Ontario, Canada.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I am a self taught artist inspired by the non-conforming and conceptual, including topics such as mathematics, nature, and urban environments. My art is abstract, precise, colorful and geometric and aims to create order out of chaos, and chaos out of order. I have been practicing for 10 years, exhibiting for 5 years, and recently became a full-time artist.
