It is pure magic to snowshoe thru a forest on a sunny day following an overnight snowfall. Currently my wanderings have been following the snow falls along the forests lining either side
of southwood rd in muskoka which research showed me is within a sweep of a
snow squall path from Georgian bay (and splits further south down thru a strip of the
kawarthas as well as the uxbridge forests which I have also explored) such that
the neighbouring areas may get mere inches of snow while southwood rd get
blanketed under several feet of the white stuff.
