Erin is a self-taught oil painter based in Toronto, Ontario. She grew up around a family who always encouraged creativity. It wasn't until the pandemic hit when she found an interest in watercolour. After practicing that for some time, she decided to learn gouache and digital art. She eventually discovered oil paint and fell in love immediately with this medium.
She feels inspired by colours, oceans, nature, people, and some of her favourite film/television characters. Claude Monet is one of the masters she draws inspiration from, as well as Jimena Reno as a more modern artist. Erin is currently studying Graphic Design and Interactive Media where she hopes to graduate with the intentions of helping other local artists with visuals for events, ads, promo content, or just general graphics to help with their business and identity as an artist.
