Acrylic on canvas.

36x24"

This piece is made out of inspiration from our drive in Rocky View County, Alberta. We get such beautiful and unreal sunsets and sunrises. I was going to pick up my son and I noticed that the sunset looks like a flame of a candle or maybe wings of an angel, you might see something else in this composition. Little pieces of clouds were scattered in a symmetry and yet looked like a flock of birds. This is such a vibrant piece and I’ve used metallic colours to add a little more spice. Bold palette knife strokes are evident in this piece. It’s a gallery wrapped ready to hang piece with continuous painting on the sides.
