Moribund aims to capture a transcendent state between death and life through colour, composition, and bodily expression. I aim to visually express themes of transcendence, departure, and the soul. I experiment with lighting, fabric and photography skills in correlation to performative dance to narrate the soul leaving the body through ghostly forms. Moribund is an artistic interpretation of opposing forces utilizing performative expression and photography to artistically depict human transcendence through a state between life and death.
