Acrylic on canvas.

As an artist, my goal is to capture the essence and beauty of the world around us in a unique and memorable way. With this acrylic painting of Moss Lake in Elk Island, I sought to convey the open serenity and peacefulness of this beautiful site without overwhelming the viewer with excessive detail.
Through the use of soft and subtle brush strokes, I was able to create a warm and calming atmosphere that invites the viewer to lose themselves in the tranquillity of the scene. Whether you are a nature lover or simply seeking a moment of respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this painting offers a glimpse into the natural beauty that surrounds us.
As a one-of-a-kind piece, this painting is a testament to the unique perspective and artistic vision that I bring to my work. Its focus on a beloved landmark in Edmonton offers a connection to the local community and the natural world that surrounds us. Whether you are an art collector or simply seeking a beautiful and inspiring addition to your home or office, this painting is sure to bring joy and serenity to all who view it.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT
I am learning from nature what life doesn't speak about.
My work is the unconscious expression of what has marked me or someone I know. What inspires me is Peace and Love but I often use abstract and surreal nature as my main symbolic metaphor for the mood or emotions I want to express.
