In this painting, I explore the theme of release and transformation. The abstract figure looks like a bicylcle at the edge of a bridge, pulling away and moving forward, yet held back by the ropes on an abstract bridge of life that represent the fears, doubts, and limitations we often place on ourselves. The act of letting go—the conscious choice to release what binds us—is central to this work. The bridge, with its inviting yet uncertain path, symbolizes the crucial moments in life when we must face the unknown, take risks, and overcome the obstacles that keep us anchored.

The figures is not hesitating or living in fear, but is fierce in a quiet reflection of the human movement: the tension between staying in a familiar space and venturing into new possibilities is obvious. Yet, the ropes and chains, rendered with fluid and almost playful brushstrokes, suggest that the very forces that seem to restrict us are often more malleable than we think.

Through this painting, I want to convey the importance of not taking life too seriously—of approaching challenges with a playful mindset, allowing us to move through them with greater fluidity and less resistance. Letting go doesn't have to be a struggle; it can be a empowering and a supportive, playful release, an invitation to cross the bridge that calls to us. In embracing this attitude, we find the courage to move forward, embracing the weight and pushing forward to step into the possibilities of what lies ahead.

Let go!
