The Rosette Nebula, also recognized as Caldwell 49, originates from the elusive Monoceros constellation, which interestingly means "unicorn" in Greek. It is occasionally nicknamed the "skull nebula" and resides a staggering distance of 5,000 light years away from our planet Earth.
