What is this about? It's about nothing! Even so, it took me a while to get it done. Layer by layer! One labyrinth inside another!
Python is an interpreted high-level general-purpose programming language. I don’t" speak" Python but this is all about Python right here.
I’m obsessed with languages and love the expression - "As many languages you know, that many times you are a human". The more languages a person knows, the more they are able to express themselves as a human being.
The painting was also inspired by nature, which is a common theme in my artwork. I use nature as a way to explore the complexity and beauty of the world around us, and the labyrinth within a labyrinth in this particular piece is a reflection of that complexity.
Hailing from the former Soviet Union, I embarked on my artistic path in my youth, enrolling in art schools to refine my craft. Concurrently, I delved into Germanistics at the Linguistic University, culminating in the attainment of my degree.
My perspective and artistic approaches have been molded by a rich tapestry of life experiences spanning Ukraine, Germany, Israel, and Canada. These varied encounters now serve as the wellspring for my distinctive and thought-provoking artworks, aiming to both challenge and evoke inspiration.
ARTIST’S STATEMENT
Being self-taught, my artistic journey has been fueled by a profound love for art and an enduring fascination with blending colors. My creations revolve around themes encompassing history, contemporary life, and the intricate spectrum of human emotions and sentiments that serve as my muse.
My aspiration is to transport the viewer's mind to uncharted territories. To accomplish this, I employ diverse abstract styles, techniques, rich textures, and work across both canvas and wooden panels.
Numerous of my artworks feature intricate, labyrinthine formations of lines, crafted over extensive periods. Many observers liken these detailed lines to the delicacy of lace. Personally, I don't see myself as merely drawing but rather as a "knitter," intertwining lines to fashion my distinct pieces.
I aim for my art to kindle the imagination and encourage a fresh perspective on experiencing the world.
